Relatively affordable, quick service. Offered a cheap, simple, and effective solution when the more complete one was hardly worth the price of the car.

Really went above and beyond to help us out when we were in a pickle! We were in Rexburg to watch the Great American Eclipse with some friends, and when we were about to head home to Salt Lake City, our car started having issues. We pulled off main street onto 5th West and looked for a nearby mechanics shop. We called and had our car towed to the nearby 0500 Mechanics at 4:15 p.m. They were swamped from all the people in town from the eclipse and were to close in under 2 hours. However, Chris was kind enough to get our car looked immediately. They quickly determined it was the alternator, and found a new one in town. Their tech worked hard and got it switched out before they closed at 6:00 p.m.! I can't say enough praise for how helpful and considerate they were. Our car ran perfectly all the way home to Salt Lake and hasn't had any issues since. We very much appreciate their getting us in and out so quickly when they were so busy and easily could have said it would take a few days. Again, they went well above and beyond our expectations! I was happy with the oil change and the report that they were able to send to me electronically. They were not pushy about other things I needed done, but did let me know what would be good.

My girlfriend and I came down to Dubois to watch the Aug 21st Solar Eclipse. When we went to leave, the car wouldn't start. After a long wait to get towed (due to the high traffic), we finally made it to Rexburg. Naturally, these guys were swamped with all sorts of people and their cars breaking down (there were a lot of visitors in the area to watch the eclipse); they could have just said, "Take a number, and we'll get to you." But they didn't. I described the problem, and they were just like, "hm, well let's make sure that it's not something mundane and simple." Within 15 minutes of pulling into the lot, they messed with some loosely plugged in wiring (the associated part does actually need to be replaced at some point, they said) the car start immediately, and they sent us on our way. Thanks a lot guys!

They educate me on what needs done with my car, and then they don't proceed until they give me an estimate and I approve. Love this place the and the people that work here. :) :) :)
